What the Light Leaves.

Photographed on one morning of strong summer light, this series records shadows cast briefly onto the bark of trees that have stood for decades. The bark is fixed. The marks on it were not, each gone within minutes as the light moved through the canopy above. The photograph is what remains.

Patina.

Every surface is an archive. This series layers three kinds of time, geological, architectural, and human, placing fragments from another archive, museum floors, shadows, the passage of visitors, onto facades and worn materials, so that what remains is neither fully present nor fully lost

Palimpsest

A museum floor read as an accidental archive, holding and erasing the traces of everyone who has crossed it.

Selected Photography.

A wider selection of work across landscape, architecture, and place, reflecting an ongoing practice of observation outside any single series or conceptual frame.

Landscape & Travel

Images from the Alps, Arctic regions, deserts, coasts and remote environments. These works focus on the interplay of weather, distance and geography, often favouring clarity, simplicity and a restrained palette.

Urban & Geometry

Studies of architectural form, infrastructure and urban structure, focusing on rhythm, line and the geometry of everyday spaces.

Echo chamber

Minimal & Abstract

Images exploring reduction, surface, pattern and ambiguity, often using colour, texture or scale to transform familiar subjects
